Location Director of Snow Removal / Base Operations Manager at Logan International Airport

Location: Logan International Airport, Boston, MA

Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 base salary + performance bonus, full benefits, PTO

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (Subject to change during snow season)

Looking for an experienced leader for our team at Logan International Airport as the Snow Removal / Base Operations Manager and take charge of essential operations that keep our airport running smoothly, including snow removal and street sweeping.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operations Management: Oversee daily snow removal operations in winter and mechanical street sweeping in warmer months, managing a team of drivers, operators, and support staff.

• Safety & Training: Develop, implement, and monitor safety and training programs for operators to ensure a productive and secure work environment.

• Budget & Compliance: Manage department budgets, review P&L statements, and ensure vendor and contractor compliance for snow removal services.

• Team Leadership: Provide clear direction to your team, assess service delivery, and make recommendations to improve efficiency and performance.

• Project Coordination: Work with the sales team on municipal bids and coordinate RFPs for street sweeping contracts.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of snow removal or construction experience

• 2+ years in a management role , leading teams and projects

• Airport experience is a MAJOR PLUS but not required

• Scheduling and dispatch experience

• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen

• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
