Environmental SpecialistJob Description

We are seeking an Environmental Specialist with a strong interest in working in the field with hazardous waste. You will be responsible for working in teams to perform lab pack services including chemical segregation, packing, and disposal, and performing chemical inventories. Additionally, you will perform audits and inspections of facilities and laboratories and assist management in developing top accounts and devising standard operating procedures. This role requires supervisory leadership skills through interactions with team members.

Responsibilities

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science-related field

• Preferred degree in Environmental Science

• Degrees in related fields such as Biology, Chemistry, Ecology, Geology, Marine, etc.

• Prior work experience, ideally hands-on or customer service (not research)

• Personable and able to interact with clients daily

• Comfortable with the physical aspects of packing and disposing of chemicals

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
