Robert Half Accounts Receivable Specialist in Quincy, Massachusetts

Description

We are searching for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team located in Quincy, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be a crucial part of our financial operations, focusing on the administration of the invoicing process, response to various requests, and providing backup support for the Accounting and Benefits Coordinator.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire invoicing process, including preparation of prebills and final invoices.

• Generate and manage invoicing reports.

• Handle collections tasks such as making calls, sending letters, and working with agencies.

• Assist with the production of reporting and spreadsheets for quarterly partner meetings.

• Monitor and report on the status of revenue.

• Process and monitor client advanced funds.

• Provide backup support for the Accounting and Benefits Coordinator, including accounts payable, payroll and benefits processing, and deposits.

• Customize templates for client invoice preparation as required per client instructions.

• Communicate regularly with Prolaw for custom client billing preparation and product support.

• Enter PTO transactions in Prolaw, monitor account balance, and replenish funds as needed.

• Prepare invoices including editing, finalization, cover letters, assembling required backup, and summary sheets.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience with Billing procedures

• Familiarity with Cash Applications and Cash Collections processes

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Oracle database management

• Familiarity with ProLaw software a plus

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize work

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong analytical skills

• Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation.
