New England Vacation Management Services Maintenance Technician in Provincetown, Massachusetts
Overseeing hotel infrastructure to ensure functionality and safety. Training and managing maintenance teams. Organizing repair, installation and renovation projects. Inspect resort regularly to ensure premises are safe and functional for guests and employees alike. Arrange for routine maintenance in rooms, lobbies and facilities (e.g. kitchens, tennis courts). Organize repair projects in a manner that does not disturb guests or owners. Plan and oversee renovations and construction. Act fast to resolve emergency issues (e.g. power outages, hazards). Find ways to reduce hotel operating costs by doing work in-house. Manage relationships with contractors and service providers. Collaborate with all departments, such as housekeeping, front desk, and management to ensure a thorough knowledge of each department. Respond actively to requests from guests, owners and other members of staff who report maintenance requirements Provide regular inspections of various equipment such as, swimming pools and their pumps, pipes, and filters, safety apparatus such as handrails, and stairwells. Fix issues around the resort such as broken tiles, loose handrails, dirty swimming pool, leaking pipes, faulted air conditioning units, etc. Maintain a proper and on-time service schedule for hotel heating and air conditioning equipment, including AC units, water heaters, and boilers. Supervise the maintenance team and conduct regular performance reviews to address concerns. Provide excellent customer service to guests and owners at all times.
