Short Order Cooks: JCG, LLC dba Box Lunch located in Provincetown, MA in Barnstable County: Temporary, Full-time, 04/01/2025-12/31/2025. At least 40 hours per week, 5 days per week, days and shifts may vary: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm (3) Openings. Will train to prepare and cook a variety of foods that require only a short preparation time. Preparation time is 10 to 15 minutes and requires that use of spatulas, knives, and other kitchen utensils as needed. Other daily food preparation includes assembling cold sandwiches, grilling hot sandwiches, preparing and portioning salads, preparing breakfast food such as eggs. Job duties other than cooking include cleaning the work area, maintaining utensils and cooking equipment, restocking and managing supplies, dating and rotating perishables. \$19.17 p/hour or \$28.76 p/hour for overtime as it may be available. No education or prior work experience is required. On the job training is provided. Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of \$15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of \$59 per day with receipts. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Employers will use a single workweek for computing wages starting Thursday at 12:01 am and ending Wednesday at 11:59 pm and the employee will be paid on Friday (weekly) by company check. H-2B workers will be provided with reimbursement by company check during the first workweek for visa, visa processing and related costs, except passport costs. All deductions required by law will be deducted weekly. Lodging may be available through employer. If housing is provided by employer, employee cost for housing is \$300p/week and is paid directly by employee to employer each pay period. Transportation is not provided to worksite.
