South Shore Early Education and Care a program of the South Shore Community Action Council - a private non-profit providing multi-level program support on the South Shore, Wareham, and the Cape and Islands, South Shore Early Education ? in Wareham seeks a part time Bus Driver 15-20 hrs. per week, 52 wks. per year, company benefits apply pro-rated. (Employees who complete more than 1040 hrs. per program year are eligible for all council benefits.) Holidays are paid if scheduled to be worked, sick leave is according to the MA State sick leave law. Base hourly rate starts at \$27.02/hr. and is commensurate with driving experience. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Core Duties CDL Commercial Bus Driver -Wareham 15-20 hours per week; 52-week position. Core Qualifications Safe transport of children including those with special needs and disabilities. Pre and post Inspection of vehicle daily, general care taking of the bus including fuel, records, etc. Actively participate in all required annual trainings. Coordinate & work with attending Bus Monitors. Deliver the children in a safe, friendly manner according to Federal & State regulation. Must speak and understand English. Minimum Requirements at employment: All candidates must undergo a background check prior to beginning employment. Valid MA CDL driver?s license, including clean driving record, and pre- employment drug and alcohol (random; post-accident; and reasonable suspicion) screenings per DOT guidelines.
