Surface Ship COMMS Senior Systems Engineer BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree. Agile experience preferred. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you'll participate in requirements analysis, requirements management, functional analysis, performance analysis, system design, trade studies, systems integration and test (verification) in the development and evaluation of networks and information systems. REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS: Join a team of Systems Communications Engineers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) Interface across teams within the Surface Ship organization Perform documentation and engineering drawing updates Troubleshoot emergent production issues remotely and in shipyard environment as required Periodically provide on-site technical support during integration/test or post-delivery activities Participate in new business opportunities and help drive future technology offerings Contribute to the development and update of program-specific plans and processes Participate in Change Control Board (CCB) meetings Generate and support engineering peer reviews Support deliveries and milestones in support of program schedules Develop strong internal and external customer relationships Support Technical Manager when conducting Quarterly Check In (QCIs), performance feedback, staffing/recruiting efforts, etc. Travel may be required approximately 25% For full position details, and to apply, please visit our careers page:
