Berkshire County Head Start Substitute Teacher in Pittsfield, Massachusetts

Come join Berkshire County Head Start as we work with young learners and their families to create a strong educational foundation. Our preschool teachers work together to build a comprehensive learning program that supports educational, emotional, and family success. As part of your learning team you will: - Implement comprehensive curriculum using Teaching Strategies Gold that promotes positive social/emotional skills, sensory needs, and development. - Provide safe and supportive environment for each child. - Practice and model developmentally appropriate skills that promote positive behaviors, problem solving, and self-regulation based on the age and developmental level of each child. - Establishes and maintains a learning environment that encourages individual exploration, discovery, abilities, and stimulation. Requirements: - Experience working in a preschool environment - EEC Certification (Preferred) - Bi-lingual in Spanish and/or Haitian Creole (Preferred) This is an on call position with no set hours or schedule.
