UCP of Western Massachusetts Registered Behavior Technician (ABA) in Pittsfield, Massachusetts

RESPONSIBILITIES: UCP is seeking a passionate RBT Behavior Technician (ABA) to join our team! You\'ll focus on improving the child\'s language, self-help skills, play, social interaction, and daily living activities. You\'ll work under the supervision of a BCBA/LABA,and collaborate with families and other specialists to meet each child\'s treatment plan. GROW YOUR FUTURE: UCP is a growing organization! This role offers the opportunity to expand your caseload with additional clients throughout Berkshire County. RBT QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to be provisionally certified by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH) as a paraprofessional Bachelor\'s degree (any field) OR Associates degree combined with at least 60 college credits in a field related to child development or special education OR Associates degree in any field combined with acurrent certification as: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), Board Certified Assistant BehaviorAnalyst (BCAT), Applied Behavior Analysis Technician (ABAT), Senior Behavior Therapist Must be able to obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification and complete Safety Caretraining within 6 months of hire Experience working with children (preferred in ABA, early childhood, or special education), home- based experience preferred CPR and First Aid certified or ability to be certified (Infant/Pediatric) Experience with electronic documentation (or ability to learn) Schedule flexibility to accommodate family needs for meeting times.
