We are hiring an O&M technician at Pittsfield Generating in Pittsfield, MA. The O&M Technician is responsible for monitoring the status of all plant systems, controlling routine plant operations, responding to alarms and abnormal conditions by taking appropriate corrective actions as directed by the Control Room Operator on duty and performing basic routine maintenance duties. This position operates from established and well-known procedures, performs duties independently under general direction and minimum supervision, and encounters high complexity recurring work situations, with occasional variations from the norm.
