We are seeking a dedicated and professional Guest Services Associate to join this team in Pittsfield to assist with the evening shift! Key Responsibilities: - Safely and efficiently transport patients and their belongings using appropriate equipment (e.g., stretchers, oxygen tanks, hospital/ICU beds). - Greet and escort family members and visitors to various locations within the facility. - Screen visitors to ensure safety and security, and alert security discreetly as needed. - Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff, ensuring a high level of customer service. - Use communication devices such as telephones, computers, barcodes, and pagers to coordinate tasks. - Work collaboratively with different units and departments throughout the hospital. - Maintain a strong understanding of hospital ethics, policies, and procedures relevant to the position. Job Requirements: - 3+ years of current experience working with the public. - High school diploma or GED. - Proven ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers. - Hospitality experience is strongly preferred. - Valid driver\'s license. - Proficiency in English (spoken and written) and knowledge of medical terminology. - Ability to follow instructions and complete assignments with high quality. - Capable of performing repetitive duties while maintaining attention to detail. - Willingness to accept and apply constructive feedback. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Strong customer service skills and a demonstrated ability to work well with the public.
