Adjunct Faculty - Physical Therapist Assistant Program Berkshire Community College is searching for Instructors for Introduction to Physical Therapy and a Structural Anatomy Lab for the Physical Therapist Assistant program. Introduction to Physical Therapy Position Description: Instruct a 2 credit course with 1 hour of lecture and two 2-hour labs per week. Salary: $1,126/classroom credit, $833/ lab credit hour @ Step 1 Structural Anatomy Lab Position Description: Instruct 2 hours of lab per week, working collaboratively with faculty who will teach lecture and other labs. Salary: $833/lab credit hour @ Step 1 Required Minimal Qualifications: Masters degree or higher in a related discipline MA licensed physical therapist/ physical therapist assistant Minimum of 1-year experience in a clinical setting Ability to work harmoniously in an institution that values diversity, equity, equality, and inclusion Ability to contribute successfully to team efforts Preferred Qualifications: Teaching experience in PT or PTA program Strong experiential background in foundational patient care Strong experiential background in foundational orthopedic assessment, including palpation, goniometry and special tests Additional Information: Area of Assignment: STEM & Allied Health Salary: Assessment Lab Instructor: $30.03/hour Introduction to Physical Therapy Lecture and Lab Instructor: $1,132/classroom credit, $838/ lab credit/ hour @ Step 1 Structural Anatomy Lab Instructor: $838/lab credit/ hour @ Step 1 Union: DCE Anticipated Start Date: Fall 2020 Pursuant to the Clery Act of 1990 a copy of Berkshire Community College's security report is available on the BCC Website.
