Our priority is to make sure we hire mechanics that care about the safety of our drivers and the service provided to the community. As a mechanic with us the minimum responsibilities are:

• Supervise, organize, schedule, and review the work of Mechanic team.

• Will select, supervisor, train, and evaluate staff members.

• Performs inspections, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, air, and hydraulic systems on MVR equipment such as conveyors, paper and cardboard screen, ballistic screen, optical screen, balers, and others.

• Will ensure heavy equipment is power washed during routine preventative maintenance

• Ensure timely completion of pm’s and repairs.

• Complete required paperwork utilizing equipment maintenance software program and assist and closing paperwork as needed.

• Reviews and completes repairs identified on Daily Inspection Reports.

• Conducts safety checks on vehicles and equipment.

• Monitors shop condition, including cleanliness, safety, including the condition of shop equipment. Reports problems.

• Communicate with Operations scheduling of down equipment.

• Strive to help achieve monthly shop budget and goals.

• Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

What we need from you:

• Valid Drivers License.

• Proficiency in a variety of diesel vehicle diagnostic tools, preventative maintenance and repair.

• Basic tool set.
