Food Preparation Workers: Sahvya Foods, Inc. dba Friends Marketplace, located in Orleans, MA on Cape Cod in Barnstable County: Temporary, Full-time, 04/01/2025-12/31/2025, 40 hours p/week, 5 days per week, days and shifts may vary, 7am-3pm, 10am-6pm, and/or 1pm-9pm. (19) Openings. Will train to prepare and package foods such as salads, sandwiches, and baked goods, wash, chop, and peel fruits and vegetables, stock shelves and take inventory and clean and maintain sanitary conditions of kitchen, equipment, and walk-in areas, and take out trash. No education or prior work experience is required. On the job training is provided. \$17.87 p/hr. or \$26.81 p/hr. for overtime as it may be available. Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least \$15.88 p/day during travel to a maximum of \$59 p/day with receipts. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Employer will use a single workweek for computing wages starting on Sunday at 12:01 am and ending on Saturday at 11:59 pm and the employee will be paid on Thursday (weekly) by company check. H-2B workers will be provided with reimbursement by company check during the first workweek for visa, visa processing and related costs, except passport costs. All deductions required by law will be deducted weekly. Housing is not available through employer. Transportation is not provided to worksite.
