Title: Lead Security Engineer, IAM and Zero Trust

Location: Remote, USA

Position Overview

We seek a talented and driven individual to serve as Senior Security Engineer, IAM and Zero Trust. This role will drive and execute IAM strategy across products and enterprise IT at Autodesk. Partnering with security leadership, you will set the vision and direction for IAM programs, mentor the team, and champion security efforts through cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have experience driving and implementing IAM at scale across products, enterprise IT, and hybrid cloud in a highly dynamic and fast-changing zero trust environments.

This position can be based on any of our office locations or a home office.

Responsibilities

  • Build and deploy security solutions, frameworks, automation, and orchestration to secure, automate and scale zero trust ecosystem

  • Evolve our IAM posture in line with industry-recognized practices, frameworks, and regulations (including FedRAMP)

  • Build and maintain critical. IAM infrastructure, including Azure AD, MFA, SSO, etc.

  • Partner with Incident Response on investigations

  • Mentor a team of engineers, and individual contributors

  • Consulting on security initiatives related to a mixture of desktop, web, and mobile apps, which all leverage cloud services

  • Drive and influence security across the organization

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in IAM

  • Experience with securing zero trust ecosystems at scale

  • Experience with Active Directory (including Azure AD), MFA, SSO, AWS IAM, and Okta

  • Strong security background, especially in the fields of IAM, application security, or cloud security

  • Hands-on experience with cloud computing technologies, especially AWS (Amazon Web Services), Azure, or GCP (Google Cloud Platform)

  • Decision maker with the ability to operate with freedom and autonomy

  • Emphasis on a data-driven, decision-making mindset

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience working with distributed teams and other cross-functional stakeholders

  • Highly collaborative in a fast-paced team environment
