  • Pay Type: Weekly

  • Hourly Pay: $21.00 per hour

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Must be open to flex hours as needed to support operational needs.

SUMMARY

The Operations Coordinator oversees all client and driver activities, manages communication and instructions, and ensures that all necessary documents for equipment pick-up and delivery are in order.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Schedule with customers regarding their delivery and pickups of their equipment.

  • Communicate with drivers regarding freight details, delivery or pickup times, special handling requests, important notices and announcements, and other relevant information.

  • Monitor driver location and performance on routes.

  • Promptly notify customers of potential delays and issues in advance.

  • Prepare dispatch documents, as well as generating freight bills and invoices.

  • Address minor delivery and pick-up issues raised by drivers, customers, and brokers.

  • Document work performed; maintainaccurate, organized, and detailed records regarding dispatched calls, driver routes, route changes,

  • Schedule and dispatch drivers and vehicles to appropriate locations according to predetermined zones, customer requests or immediate needs as well as accommodating route changes as needed.

  • Relay information via phone, email or text message.

  • Speak with supervisors or customers to resolve problems, requests for services or equipment.

  • Organize work requests, customer requests, completed work requests, charges for work performed, expenses for services performed.

  • Assist training new driverson processes

  • Ensure that daily driver paperwork is accurate and inputted correctly.

  • Investigate customer complaints with regard to transportation-associated issues.

  • Complete additional tasks as requested by management.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE

One (1) year or more experience 1-2 years related experience
