REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: ? A+, MCP, Network+ certifications preferred but not required ? Associates degree in a related IT field or equivalent experience ? Proficiency in: o Virtualization software, especially VMWare, including migrations and management o Microsoft environments: Windows Server (2019/2012/2008R2), Windows 10, Office 365/2016 Suite, Exchange and Azure management o Firewall setup, Routing, DHCP, DNS, and Network troubleshooting o Active Directory, Group Policy, and Wordpress administration o Sophos Endpoint management (our anti-virus/anti-malware kit) POSITION SUMMARY: The System Administrator (SA) plays a pivotal role in provisioning, configuring, and maintaining systems hardware, software, and associated infrastructure. They actively contribute to technical research and development to foster innovation within the infrastructure while ensuring alignment with organizational policies and procedures. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The role involves but is not limited to: Managing Hyper-Converged Systems using VMWare, including migrations, deployments, and maintenance Troubleshooting Fortigate firewall settings, routing, interfaces, VPN configurations and FortiAP Wifi Access Points Administering Windows Server roles, Active Directory, IIS, DHCP, DNS, Windows Print Services, and Group Policy Installation and configuration of physical and virtual servers based on operational needs Collaborating with vendors, ISPs, and support contacts to resolve technical issues Assisting in software/hardware contract management and negotiation On-site support, utilizing the helpdesk ticketing system and support calls Managing IT procurement process, including servers, VoIP, network equipment, and computer systems Configuring VoIP telephone systems including hardware and software configuration (Mitel/Micollab), Micollab server-manager and MiVoice business Planning and implementing security measures to safeguard data, software, and hardware Deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windows Servers Managing computer configurations, security, licensing, and company cell phone plans Conducting basic content updates on the company website using Wordpress Providing remote and after-hours support as required QUALIFICATIONS: Associates degree in a related IT field or equivalent experience Three years of experience in a fast-paced, technology-evolving environment Proficiency in operating systems, Unix system administration, backup procedures, and system performance monitoring tools Strong project management skills Ability to communicate complex technical information effectively, multitask, and handle emergency situations efficiently
