We currently have an opportunity for a Strategic Resource Assistant . The selected employee will be responsible for assisting the Producers with new business submission generation and proposal customization. This entails working closely with team members, information resources, producers, and clients in order to obtain pertinent information required to market our business to insurance carriers. This role requires an individual that is comfortable in a fast-paced environment that can manage time and priorities well. In addition, it requires someone that can take initiative to find answers and use out of the box thinking techniques to accomplish the tasks. The expectation for this role is a steppingstone within the overall HUB organization, so in between day to day responsibilities you will be expected to expand your industry and coverage knowledge to prepare for your next step.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Providedatabaseand CRM supportfor salesdepartment on new business being submitted to this unit for support.

  • Using Microsoft Suite of Software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to create professional submissions and proposals. All submissions and proposals will require sign off by the producer and/or marketing.

  • Using insurance related information platforms and tools to locate required information. Navigating internet resources will be a large part of this work.

  • Track SRA work using the tracking tool

  • Assist with the preparation of sales proposals (RFPs).

  • Provide document support for various meetings producers may have involving new business opportunities

  • Pursuit and obtainment of a P&C Broker License within 2 years of start.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned by Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Marketing communications experience.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe, Creative Suite and CRM Contact Database Software.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently while adhering to moving deadlines.

  • Excellent grammar, punctuation, organizational, interpersonal, communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Department Office Administration & Clerical

Required Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience

Required Travel: No Travel Required

Required Education: High school or equivalent
