Our client in Norwell, MA is seeking an Environmental Scientist III to join their team. As an Environmental Scientist III, you will be part of the data management team supporting sediment, soil, water, air, and biota investigations. The ideal candidate will have strong data management experience, critical thinking skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Job Title: Environmental Scientist III

Location: Norwell, Massachusetts

Pay Range: $54.25 per hour

What's the Job?

• Conduct literature and public data research utilizing appropriate online research tools; analyzing results for relevancy and completeness.

• Compile and maintain an inventory of datasets for consideration by Subject Matter Experts for inclusion in a database of chemical, biological, and toxicological parameters.

• Extract and transform analytical chemistry data from public sources into spreadsheet templates that are loaded by others into a database.

• Employ knowledge of analytical chemistry and other environmental data and methods to accurately extract and transform source data in preparation for database assimilation.

• Provide technical knowledge of environmental data and methods to support the data management team.

What's Needed?

• Eligible to receive a Security Clearance

• BS in environmental-related discipline (e.g., chemistry, biology, geology, engineering, or environmental science)

• 5+ years of related work experience

• Data Management experience
