Four Star Farms Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery in Northfield, Massachusetts
1 Full Time Seasonal H-2A Jobs available 08/01/24 - 10/19/24.
Preparing soil, planting, weeding, thinning, irrigating, mowing, harvesting, grading, and packing various outdoor crops such as, but not limited to, hops & various grains is necessary to accomplish these tasks, determined by weather conditions. Some aspects of the job may require up to 50lbs. Must be able to perform general farm machinery maintenance and irrigation. Farm hand tools include, but are not limited to, power and manual pruners, weeders, shovel, hoe. Must be able to load and unload trailer trucks filled with vegetables in an orderly manner, under direct supervision. These jobs may be performed outdoors and in all weather conditions. May need to wear protective equipment including, but not limited to rain gear. Work may occur up to 18ft off the ground. Minimum of 30 days experience required.
