Job Description:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & DUTIES

  • Coordinate Operations Tasking and hand-offs within the department for a variety of program/ product types (i.e. Production, Developmental, Spares, Aftermarket, etc)

  • Facilitates flow of material and assets from vendor to manufacturing, and ultimately to our customer

  • Maps, tracks, and expedites critical path activity, identifying and suggesting methods for removing barriers and progressing activity and flow – focus on On Time Delivery

  • Updates Red, Yellow, Green tool to articulate next actions, owners, barriers-to-progress, and RCCA on OTD misses

  • Supports weekly Plan vs. Actual reporting, and OTD metric, trending and systemic process opportunities, including Get-to-Green plan management (Continuous Improvement)

  • Support Program Teams in the development and refinement of schedules, including recovery and rework schedules, supporting visual management for Program Standups and Tier I Gemba Meetings

  • Builds relationships with manufacturing, manufacturing support, program management, supply chain, supplier quality, and engineering to support dynamic teamwork and cross-departmental collaboration

  • For Developmental Programs – Works with Engineering, Planning, and Supply Chain Managers to develop Drawing and Requisition Burn Down plans based on manufacturing build schedules, supplied part lead times

  • Serve as the CAM for Operations within each Product Area – Surface Imaging, Submarine Imaging - oversee, manage budgets, tasking, ETC support, forecasting, etc.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree

  • Meets eligibility requirements to access US classified information

  • Strong organization and presentation skills

  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral

  • Have the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management, peers and other employees relative to training needs and issues

  • Strong knowledge of English grammar and usage, writing/organizational/teaching techniques, as well as a demonstrated ability to analyze technical information

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or 15+ equivalent years of experience in job duties detailed above
