Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assembly Line Responsibilities:

  • Ensure stockroom priorities are in line with daily production schedules for assembly lines.

  • Assist in developing new or alternate processes to improve workflow and production rates.

  • Assist in communicating information between the shop floor and the assembly supervisor to reduce downtime and keep lines flowing.

  • Communicate with other departments and planners to expedite red-bin and rush orders through the lines in a seamless manner.

  • Kitting of Bag and Tags, Deliverables, and FITA’s.

  • Handle stock-outs, kit shortages, and kitting errors to allow techs to stay on task.

  • Assist in the issuing, maintenance, and close-out of shop orders.

Stockroom Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accuracy of picking and shop order kitting activities.

  • Support Receiving, Return to Stock and de-kit material actions.

  • Maintain inventory material locations.

  • Ensure accuracy of inventory through various transactions in accordance with procedures.

  • Ability to adapt to change and maintain a positive attitude.

  • Provide courteous, professional service to internal customers when responding to service requests at the service window.

  • Maintain security of inventory area and department.

  • Support Change Orders and Material Purge processes.

  • Support Cycle Counting.

  • Conduct historical research and interpretation of material transactions.

  • Transport material between production areas.

  • Support shipping activities.

  • Comply with and assist in the enforcement of all company safety policies.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to work with changing demands in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication skills with both internal and external customers

  • Knowledge of MS Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

  • 1-2 years Manufacturing inventory experience

  • ERP experience preferred

  • Computer Experience required

  • Working knowledge of MSOffice programs, i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook

  • Excellent Organizational Skills

  • Excellent Communication Skills

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
