Billing Coordinator Responsibilities Monthly patient/resident account billing - Medicare & MassHealth. Preparing, reconciling, & submitting end of month reports. Completing deposits, maintaining cash log, & downloading ERAs. Reconciling & entering census into AR software. Maintaining review of aging reports. Participating in AR review meetings. Billing Coordinator Requirements & Skills Experience in billing preferred (nursing home environment preferred but not required). Familiarity with health insurance including Medicare, Medicaid, & Managed Care reimbursement IT Proficiency (MS Office applications & AR software). Excellent organizational skills, with a strong ability to prioritize important tasks Strong phone, email & in-person communication skills.
