Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a meticulous Sales Assistant in North Billerica, Massachusetts. This role is integral to our team, with the main function being to provide exceptional customer service and support to our customers at the point of sale. You will play a crucial role in driving sales and contributing to our overall success in the fast-paced retail industry.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide high-quality customer service

• Handle and process transactions in a timely and accurate manner

• Promote products or services to customers at the point of sale

• Respond to customer inquiries and assist with product selection

• Contribute to a positive customer experience and the overall success of the retail operation

• Communicate effectively with customers and team members

• Multitask and adapt to a fast-paced work environment

• Utilize CRM, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, About Time, and other necessary software for sales and customer service tasks

• Handle customer complaints professionally and efficiently

• Perform administrative office tasks as needed. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word

• Experience in using CRM software for tracking customer interactions and data

• Ability to handle cash activities and understand closing processes

• Demonstrated experience in direct sales and customer service

• Strong administrative skills with experience in an office setting

• Ability to handle customer complaints and provide effective solutions

• Experience in interacting with C-suite level executives

• Proficiency in using 'About Time' software for time tracking and management

• Commitment to provide high-quality service to customers

• Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to team goals

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Proactive approach to problem-solving and decision making

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively

• Willingness to continuously learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
