Works under the direction and guidance of the Product Manager. The Cost Estimator is responsible for responding to customer RFQ\'s by producing quotes, collaborating with the Buyer to obtain material pricing, and submitting responses in a timely manner. Upon the receipt of PO\'s, entering Sales Orders in SAP, generating TSR and CC files and supporting documents for all cable and harness assemblies built at the Cristek Billerica facility. Working with both the Production and Management teams, the Cost Estimator position will play a key role within a team that will work together to ensure timely review of new Sales Orders (post award contract review) which shall be reviewed at a regularly scheduled JANUS meeting. Providing support to Production concerning issues that arise which involve customer responses. Utilize SAP Business One system for Quotes, BOM entry, uploading documents and Sales Order entry and updates. The ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and in conjunction with meeting delivery schedules and customer requirements is critical to this position. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Respond to customer RFQ\'s via SAP Quote Module. Enter customer BOM into SAP, review drawings, Parts List, Wire List and all associated Specs. Communicate with customer regarding missing documentation. Collaborate with Buyer when quote is ready for material pricing. Produce Labor Worksheets for each assembly and enter into the Cristek Pricing Sheet. Identify any NRE, FAI or Set Up Charges that would apply to assembly and include in quote. Once pricing is complete, compile information and submit final quote to customer in a timely manner. Coordinate and participate in weekly JANUS (H2-H4) meetings where post award contract review, pre-production planning and process review, and finally post production review takes place. JANUS (Hurdle 1) Enter every quote on H1 Log. Generate TSR file for every quote (based on CDR for each customer). Upload customer documents to folder in Sidewinder and SAP. Sign TSR - H1 Form. JANUS (Hurdle 2) Once PO is received from customer, verify that pricing and lead times match the current quote for that assembly and that all documents match current REV\'s. Communicate with customer at this point for any missing information. Enter Sales Order into SAP for each PO. Obtain Contract Review Second Check forms for all Sales Order entries. Review other Sales Orders generated by Sales team and complete form. Generate the TSR Hurdle 2-4 forms as well as the CC form for each assembly. Create associated folders and collect for H2 Meeting. Coordinate with General Manager when Sales Order is ready for H2 Meeting. JANUS (Hurdle 3) Participate in this meeting by providing required assistance from Engineering with regard to building the Router for each assembly. WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 5-10 years experience within an electrical mechanical assembly production environment. Proficient at reviewing and understanding build-to-print drawings, parts list, wire list and specs. Experience producing labor projections for cable & harnesses. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor\'s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field. Experience with MS-Office (especially Excel, Word, Access) is required. Experience with SAP Business One preferred. REQUIRED SKILLS/WORKING CONDITIONS This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
