High school or equivalent (Preferred) KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS 2.1 3. SKILL REQUIREMENTS 3.1. Problem Solving: Basic math skills. Physical Capability: Ability to lift between 50 pounds (without assistance) and move pallets up to 1000 pounds utilizing material handling equipment. Effective written and verbal English communication skills.] 4. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 4.1. Minimum of three years of industrial maintenance work. 5. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS 5.1. Technical Skill Requirements: Must have proven trouble-shooting skills Must be able to read a variety of electrical meters. Must be able to set-up and use a wide variety of hand and power tools. Must be able to perform simple electrical calculations read blueprints and schematics. Ability to read blueprints 6. TYPICAL DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: 6.1 Procedural Responsibilities: Perform remedial repair and installations related to equipment and facilities. Replace lights and fuses. Bend and install electrical conduit, install plumbing fixtures. Perform simple carpentry, and plumbing installations. Snow shoveling and plowing. Perform other duties as directed or required. 6.2 Physical Requirements and Activities: Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds. Must be able to work in confined spaces. Must be able to work from ladders at a height of 40 feet. Perform other duties as directed. Must be able to firmly grip a variety of tools. Must be able to work within confined spaces. 6.3 Workplace Maintenance: Snow removal, painting, cleaning, and hazmat responsibilities Maintain grounds and premises as required. On call availability is needed. 6.4 Equipment Operation:. Knowledge to operate powered hand tools, volt-ohm meters, and other equipment utilized during the typical incidences of the maintenance man?s duties. Able to grip hand tools with sufficient force and dexterity to perform repairs and installations. 6.5 Regulatory Requirements: Must be able to comply with all company safety and environmental rules and regulations. Education :High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience as required by the job. Experience: Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Required)
