We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence tools, and will be responsible for driving data-driven decision-making processes across the organization. As a Senior BI Analyst, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, develop analytical solutions, and provide actionable insights to support business growth and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Collaborate with business teams to define and document requirements for reporting.
Design and develop reports and analytical tools.
Collect, analyze, and interpret complex datasets.
Transform data into clear, actionable reports using graphs, charts, and dashboards.
Develop and implement advanced data visualization techniques to create intuitive and impactful reports.
Perform ongoing monitoring and refinement of reports.
Business Insights:
Understand decision-making processes, workflows, and business needs by working closely with stakeholders.
Proactively mine data warehouses to identify trends and patterns.
Generate insights through statistical analysis to support strategic planning, business development, and operational efficiency.
Data Management:
Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing best practices for data governance and management.
Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to optimize data processes and infrastructure.
Identify and resolve data errors and inconsistencies promptly.
Project Management:
Scope and manage projects from ideation to implementation to enhance the organization’s data and analytics capabilities.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
Stakeholder Communication:
Communicate findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management.
Data Security:
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies.
Implement security measures to protect sensitive data.
Mentorship and Leadership:
Advocate for and teach the use of business intelligence tools across the organization.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in business intelligence and data analytics.
Propose and implement improvements to existing processes and tools.
Qualifications and Skills
Education: Bachelor’s in information systems, Business Administration, Data Science, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: 7+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a similar role in manufacturing domain. Proven track record of delivering actionable insights and driving business performance.
Technical Skills:
Extensive Power BI experience.
Strong SQL skills for data querying and manipulation.
Strong ability to extract, manipulate, visualize, and model large datasets.
Ability to identify patterns, correlations, and trends from data that can provide insights into business operations, customer behavior, or market dynamics.
In-depth knowledge of data warehousing/lakehouse concepts, ETL processes and related technologies (e.g., Microsoft Synapse Analytics, Databricks).
Advanced skills in Excel
Experience with cloud-based data platforms, particularly Azure.
Experience with programming languages such as Python is a plus.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret complex data sets and derive meaningful insights. Ability to perform functional requirements analysis and business domain analysis.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely.
Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop junior analysts.
As the Senior BI Analyst, you will use your expertise in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence tools to lead data-driven decision-making across the organization. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will translate business needs into analytical solutions, uncover insights to support strategic initiatives , and optimize processes for enhanced efficiency and growth. Reporting to the Senior Vice President - Chief Information Officer, you will lead projects, mentoring junior analysts, and leveraging modern BI platforms and data technologies within a manufacturing context.
You Will:
Collaborate with business teams to define and document reporting requirements.
Design, develop , and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualization tools.
Transform complex datasets into clear, actionable insights using advanced visualizations.
Continuously monitor and refine reporting solutions to ensure accuracy and relevance.
Understand decision-making processes, workflows, and business needs by engaging with stakeholders .
Mine data warehouses to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
Perform statistical analysis to inform strategic planning, business development, and operational improvements.
Derive meaningful insights from data, identifying patterns and trends relevant to business operations and market dynamics.

Identify and resolve data inconsistencies and errors promptly.
Scope, plan, and manage analytics projects from concept to implementation.
Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management and other key decision-makers.
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies.
Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive data.
Advocate for the use of business intelligence tools and data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and tools , driving innovation in the analytics function.
You Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Data Science, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a similar role within the manufacturing domain, with a proven track record of delivering actionable insights.
Experience with Power BI and strong SQL skills.
Expertise in extracting, manipulating, visualizing, and modeling large datasets.
In-depth knowledge of data warehousing/lakehouse concepts, ETL processes, and related technologies (e.g., Microsoft Synapse Analytics, Databricks).
Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Azure-based data platforms.
Experience managing multiple projects and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
