We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Loan Processor - Support role in North Adams, Massachusetts. This role will primarily focus on providing top-notch service to our members within the financial industry. Key responsibilities include efficient processing of loan contracts, maintaining up-to-date member records, and resolving member inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process and handle member skip-a-payments and loan payoffs.

• Release vehicle liens, mark titles received, and file them accordingly.

• Proactively respond to department emails and phone calls.

• Scan various loan and membership documents into the Core and LOS systems.

• Monitor all rates, conditions, and disclosures to ensure compliance.

• Conduct detailed reviews, updates, and verification of information.

• Initiate requests for missing or incomplete information and perform necessary follow-ups.

• Engage with members and automobile and recreational vehicle dealers to ensure the Credit Union’s security interest in collateral is served.

• Respond to member inquiries both orally and in writing.

• Quote rates, products, and other related information and resolve issues within scope of authority.

Requirements • Proficiency in Data Processing, with the ability to manage, organize, and update relevant data using database applications.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.

• Knowledge and experience in Loan Servicing, specifically in the domain of Auto Loans.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and also perform independently, managing tasks in a timely manner.

• Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks related to loan processing and support.

• Outstanding problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions based on available information.

• Familiarity with relevant software tools and platforms used in the loan processing industry.

• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, while maintaining a high standard of work.

• Commitment to continuous learning and improvement, staying updated on industry trends and best practices.

• Adherence to all company policies and regulations, as well as local and federal laws pertaining to loan processing.
