Description

We are seeking a Chart Retrieval Specialist for a dynamic 5-month contract opportunity. The Chart Retrieval Specialist role is ideal for candidates located in or near North Adams, MA. This position offers mileage, toll, and overnight stay reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel up to 90 miles to various healthcare facilities to retrieve both paper and electronic medical charts.

• Upload the collected data securely into the designated system for coding team analysis.

• Operate independently, with the flexibility to submit end-of-day reports from home.

• Participate in a two-day, remote, paid training program to gain familiarity with risk adjustment processes.

  Requirements

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED.

• Valid driver’s license and personal insurance/liability policy.

• Reliable internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload speeds).

• Proficiency in basic computer tasks: file downloading/uploading, file management, and document imaging.

• Strong interpersonal skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; full-day assignments may vary based on project needs.

• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 30 pounds.

• Comfortable using telephone or headset equipment for communication.
