Description

We are offering a Sr. Accountant in the Real Estate & Property industry, based in Newton, Massachusetts. This role involves managing multiple complex operational matters on a daily basis, supervising and training team members, and offering superior customer service to clients, vendors, and tenants.

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple and complex operational matters daily in the Real Estate & Property industry

• Provide superb customer service to clients, vendors, and tenants

• Supervise and train team members to ensure efficient operations

• Utilize strong leadership skills to motivate and guide the team

• Handle Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations

• Prepare and post Journal Entries

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting

• Conduct Month End Close activities

• Understand and manage property operations and budget/financial management

• Maintain and manage the General Ledger

Requirements • Proficient in Account Reconciliation

• Skilled in Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Experience in Bank Reconciliations

• Able to make Journal Entries accurately and efficiently

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Skilled in executing Month End Close procedures

• Familiarity with the Property industry

• General Ledger experience is a must

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant field

• Proven experience as a Sr. Accountant in Real Estate & Property industry

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures

• CPA or other relevant qualification is a plus.
