Responsibilities:

  • Engaging Interactions: Build meaningful connections with residents, staff, and family members through positive interactions.

  • Companionship & Support:Assist residents with recreational activities and daily living tasks.

  • Life Skills Coaching:Support residents with medication reminders, personal hygiene, meal preparation, and housekeeping.

  • Documentation:Maintain accurate daily service logs and track progress toward care plan goals.

  • Meal Preparation: Assist in preparing meals while adhering to dietary plans.

  • Communication: Monitor and report any changes in residents’ health or behavior to the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Education:High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Caregiving Interest or Experience:Prior experience or a strong desire to work with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.

  • Dependability:Reliability and commitment to fulfilling job responsibilities.

  • Compassion & Integrity:A caring nature and strong ethical standards.

  • Certifications: CPR and First Aid certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of employment).
