Kforce Project Manager / Scrum Master in Newton, Massachusetts

Kforce has a client in Newton, MA that is seeking a Project Manager/Scrum Master.Responsibilities: * In this role, the Project Manager/Scrum Master will be leading daily Scrum * Working with Azure DevOps to make sure they're looking at portfolio * Anticipating when the project may fall behind * Help with some business analysis, but initially some traditional PM duties * The Project Manager/Scrum Master will also managing some small projects with outside vendors, implementing SaaS solutions, managing some small projects; A lot of risk; Agile-ish shop; Adoption pathway into Agile right now * Going to be communicating with various stakeholders * Lead teams in understanding their capacity and using it to plan * Project Manager/Scrum Master will coach Product Owners and Product Managers in backlog management and prioritization techniques, and business partner engagement * Perform trend analysis and recommendations for improvements * Develop and promote a culture of reflection and continuous improvement, including issues requiring management support * Scrum Master activities of sprint planning, daily scrum, and retrospective as needed for non-development work * 5 years of IT project planning, management, and business analyst experience * Experience in solution architecture - translating business requirements into reengineered processes, organizational structures, and technology solutions * Experience taking a project from conception to production managing all aspects of solution delivery including requirements gathering, scope definition, resource planning, budget management, status reporting, risk management, and change control * Must possess a can-do attitude and willingness to do what it takes to deliver projects on time and within budget; A persistent follow-up to make sure project diligence is achieved is necessary * Excellent facilitation, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills * Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and to all functional groups * Ability to translate technical requirements and issues into appropriate context * Demonstrated experience managing vendors to assist in or solely drive project delivery * Strong business acumen across multiple business functions (e.g. Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Engineering, etc.) * Experience with recognized project management tools including MS Project, SharePoint, and structure PM methodologies * Knowledge and experience in high-performance technical environments * Demonstrated ability to perform in a demanding multi-tasking environment * Must have grown Agile practices in the past 12 months and want to continue on this pathway * Well organized * Able to work independently Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
