Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in near our Watertown, Massachusetts location. This role is within the real estate management industry and requires a high degree of proficiency in accounting functions and software systems. The primary responsibilities include assisting in bookkeeping tasks, maintaining financial records, and supporting the CPA Controller.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Conduct cash flow analysis regularly to ensure financial stability

• Utilize QuickBooks and other computerized accounting systems to maintain accurate records

• Assist in the preparation and management of the annual budget

• Provide support in handling customer inquiries and resolving issues related to their accounts

• Collaborate with the CPA Controller to execute accounting functions

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action when required

• Leverage Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks and data management

• Ensure adherence to accounting best practices and company policies

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with Computerized Accounting System

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions

• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes

• Ability to prepare and manage an Annual Budget

• Experience in Cash Flow Analysis

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred

• Relevant certification such as Certified Bookkeeper (CB) will be considered an advantage
