Bereavement Administrative Support Associate
Recently named by The Boston Globe as one of the Top Places to Work in Massachusetts, our community based, mission-driven hospice and palliative care organization seeks an organized compassionate individual to join our expanding Bereavement Department as a Part Time Bereavement Administrative Support Associate. This individual will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide assistance with the coordination of the daily operations of bereavement and administrative services.
Job Responsibilities:
This position assists in planning of bereavement related community events, groups, meetings, and training. This role provides assistance with bereavement related tasks which include mailings and coordination of phone calls. Other duties include Interdisciplinary Team bereavement related administrative functions to ensure compliance of regulations and quality goals and assists in general office responsibilities as needed including assisting with phone coverage, and in review and revision of written policies and procedures.
Education, Skills and Experience:
College or healthcare related work experience is preferred.
Bilingual/multilingual applicants encouraged to apply.
Ability to take initiative, work independently, multi-task and manage time well with exemplary organizational skills.
Comfortable working within an electronic medical record.
Comfortable working within computer platforms, Word, Excel, Google Docs, etc.
