VCA Rotherwood Animal Hospital has been fortunate to work with pets and their people in the Newton community for more than 45 years. We are very fortunate to have countless lasting relationships that span generations of people and their pets. We are a four doctor, small animal practice that believes in the importance of dedicated client and patient care. We have a strong focus on preventative medicine, and strive to collaborate with pet parents to improve medical outcomes for our patients.
Rotherwood is looking for Credentialed Veterinary Technicians and experienced Veterinary Assistants, who are interested in joining our team. Typical expectations, duties, and daily tasks will include:
Client communication and education
Efficient and accurate use of electronic medical records and practice management software
Supporting the DVM team with patient appointments, taking accurate histories, providing treatments, and assisting with procedures
Safe patient restraint, phlebotomy skills, hands-free radiology
Surgery preparation, anesthesia monitoring, and patient post-op care
Commitment to training and development of new team members

Pay range depending on skill level and experience $20 - $28 /hr
