Riverside Community Care Advance Practice Registered Nurse - Outpatient - Full Time or Part Time in Newton / Cambridge, Massachusetts

Riverside is seeking an Advance Practice Registered Nurse - Outpatient at our Cambridge Outpatient with a July 2024 start date!

The Behavioral Health Advance Practice Nurse (APRN) is an integral member of a multidisciplinary team within the Outpatient Program.

The APRN will:

  • provide clinical and medication management of assigned caseload

  • provide coverage and/or consultation for other individuals

  • function as medical consultant to staff, individuals, family members and collateral programs under the supervision of the Regional Medical Director

  • be responsible for a set of medical duties which vary from program to program

  • provide clinical supervision to other nursing staff and interns

    Pay Rate:

  • APRN (Child & Adult) = $77.25/hour

  • APRN (Adult Only) = $75.19/hour

    Schedule: Between 20 - 40 hours with hybrid opportunities

    Location: Cambridge Outpatient with some dual support to our nearby Somerville and Newton locations as well

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

  • Intermediate computer fluency, including Microsoft Office

Required Experience

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing with certification as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Psychiatry

  • Additional mental health related degree at master’s level strongly preferred

  • Four years experience working within specific clinical license preferred. One year experience

  • Must maintain a valid DEA license

  • Must meet all requirements to maintain an active professional license in nursing, including, but not limited to, continuing education, ethical requirements, etc.
