The Neonatal Care Center is a close-knit unit that provides exemplary patient centered, high quality care to our smallest patients. We value having a positive work culture and collaboration. Are you ready to become a part of our dynamic Neonatal Care Center team?

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Advocates for patients and families to ensure positive patient care outcomes.

  • Documents all changes as well as relevant information regarding patient’s response to intervention, therapeutic regimens, and patient progress as it relates to plan of care and patient’s response to teaching.

  • Communicates effectively with patients, families' peers and other members of the healthcare team.

  • Includes patient, family, and caregivers in all aspects of care while ensuring that all explanations are understandable.

  • Attends deliveries when appropriate. Implements stabilization process according to NRP guidelines.​

  • Responds effectively and professionally in a crisis situation.

  • Provides resources to assist patients and families with post-discharge needs.

Scheduled Hours: Per Diem

Work Shift: Nights

Education Required: Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Education Preferred : BSN

Licenses, Registrations, Certifications Required:

  • State of Massachusetts RN licensure (or eligibility)

  • BLS Certification

  • NRP

Experience: Neonatal Care in level 2 or 3 Nursery experience preferred, inpatient pediatric experience may be considered
