Description We are offering a contract for a permanent part-time Receptionist position in the non-profit industry, based in Newburyport, Massachusetts. The role is hosted at our physical workplace and involves a wide range of responsibilities, primarily focused on customer service and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Providing sensitive and appropriate services to individuals with special needs

• Handling a multi-line phone system, which involves answering phone calls, transferring calls, and taking messages

• Welcoming guests and checking them into the office

• Undertaking data entry tasks and maintaining organized files

• Managing email correspondence with tact and professionalism

• Scheduling appointments and managing calendars using Microsoft Outlook

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for various administrative tasks

• Being available on call when required

• Demonstrating strong interpersonal skills in all interactions. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role or related field.

• Proficiency in answering multi-line phone system.

• Strong customer service skills.

• Experience in data entry tasks.

• Ability to handle email correspondence efficiently.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word.

• Experience in organizing files and maintaining a filing system.
