City of New Bedford Treasurer Collector in New Bedford, Massachusetts
Chief custodian of all City funds; oversees municipal borrowing and debt in accordance with applicable laws; manages office staff; responsible for collection and processing of all City revenues, investment of City funds, cash management, solicitation of bonds, payment of debt obligations and tax foreclosures. 40 hours Bachelor?s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field. Five years of related finance, business, or accounting work experience in a supervisory capacity. Any equivalent combination of education and experience. Municipal experience preferred.
