City of New Bedford Sewage Plant Repairperson in New Bedford, Massachusetts
This position supervises, repairs, maintains, and operates mechanical and electrical equipment used in the City?s wastewater pumping facilities. 40 hours Possession of a valid Massachusetts driver?s license and good driving record. possession of a 2B hoisting license preferred or the ability to obtain one. Operates a motor vehicle on a regular basis. Capable of obtaining a MA Collection Systems Certificate within six months from date of hire. Graduation from high school or GED equivalent and at least two to four years of experience in mechanical and electrical components of a wastewater collection system.
