Job Details Description Nurse Case Manager - Sign on Bonus Eligible! Program/Location: Outpatient/ New Bedford Education/Licensure: Licensed Registered Nurse in Massachusetts, BS in Nursing preferred. Salary: up to \$94,640 (education & experience dependent) Shifts: Full Time, Mon-Fri: 8am-4:30pm Nurse Case Manager Qualifications Five to eight years of direct care experience is recommended within a behavioral health &/or substance use disorder treatment setting Two years supervisory experience preferred Current & unrestricted license in Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse Nurse Case Manager Requirements Licensed Registered Nurse in Massachusetts, BS in Nursing preferred; Must maintain and submit licensure/certificate necessary to perform the required position Five to eight years of direct care experience is recommended, with a minimum of one year involving addiction medicine, or an acute and/or emergency medical unit Certified Addiction Registered Nurse (CARN) certification recommended, or willing to obtain certification within two years Nurse Case Manager Duties & Responsibilities Support stimulant use initiatives as needed including contingency management, medication administration, assessments, safety planning, outreach, collaboration with clinics, providers, community Monitoring of patient needs related to filling practitioner orders, administration of medications, monitoring vital signs, coordinating medical care, monitoring withdrawal (COWS/CIWA); Ongoing management of patients receiving medications for addiction; Works with the clinical teams to provide supportive care for patients with acute stimulant use and in the withdrawal phase; Assist with laboratory (blood) draws, supply monitoring, and sample handling; Assist with urine drug screening, ordering of labs, and results reporting to practitioner; Completion of documentation and record keeping in the Electronic Health Record Assist in monitoring inventory, ordering of medications, and equipment needed for daily operation of the unit in collaboration with the pharmacy Participate in quality assurance and implementing QA planning, including Tally Card, CQI and/or failure mode projects Provide oversight and supervision to the Medical Assistant Compliance with the Federal Regulations, 42 CFR Part 2, Confidentiality of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Patients and HIPAA Regulations Compliance with DPH, DMH, Joint Commission, DEA and all other regulatory agencies as required
