Essential Duties Reading and understanding construction drawings assembly instructions. Taking part in production/fabrication meetings. Verifying dimensions and product specifications. Ensuring that all the required materials for fabrication are present. Ensuring that all components are properly built, aligned, and fastened. Ensuring that quality control standards are met. Maintaining a production schedule. Working within job budgets. Reporting and detailing product defects. Adhering to assembly safety standards. TRAINING & QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. High school diploma or GED. Experienced welder with both aluminum and steel. Experienced with various industrial equipment (e.g., circular saws, drill presses, brakes, punches, grinders, routers and cutting torches.) Good dexterity. Attention to detail. Good organizational skills. Physical stamina. Sign Fabrication is a plus Must pass Preemployment Drug Test
