Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a full-time position at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital - Needham in Needham, MA . BID Needham, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is a 73-bed community hospital that has served residents of Needham and other surrounding communities for more than 100 years. The BILH system brings together academic medical centers and teaching hospitals, community and specialty hospitals in a shared mission to expand access to great care and advance the science and practice of medicine through groundbreaking research and education.

The successful candidate will:

• maintain a strong working knowledge of nutrition standards of care for both inpatient and outpatient settings;

• serve as an active member of the multidisciplinary care team, with involvement in committees and community outreach events as needed;

• demonstrate competency in providing medical nutrition therapy to a variety of patient groups;

• participate in performance improvement and/or outcome measurement initiatives in the clinical and operational setting; and

• mentor/coach Dietetic Interns.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire

Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
