The Westmoor Club Front Desk/Concierge in Nantucket, Massachusetts
Westmoor Club Management, LLC d/b/a The Westmoor Club, located in Nantucket, MA, seeks four (4) full-time, temporary Front Desk/Concierges who will be responsible for operating telephones in a polite and friendly manner following proper telephone etiquette, greeting members and guests, assisting with reservations, distributing Club information and schedules, and collecting and sorting the mail on a daily basis. Will report directly to the House Manager at The Westmoor Club. One (1) year of guest service experience at a high-end hotel, resort, or private club required. Previous experience with hospitality point-of-sale systems required. Applicant must complete pre-employment background check. Applicant must complete COVID-19 test within 72 hours of arrival or provide proof of vaccination. Travel is not required. Wage: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour, paid weekly. Overtime is available at $24.00 - $30.00 per hour. The Westmoor Club has been granted a Seasonal Business Overtime Exemption for the 2021 season that is valid from May 23, 2021 to September 19, 2021. Therefore, overtime is available at 1.5x the regular wage rate, $24.00 - $30.00 per hour paid weekly, from May 15, 2021 until May 22, 2021 and from September 20, 2021 until October 15, 2021 (the periods not covered by the Seasonal Business Overtime Exemption). Overtime hours are optional, and when worked, will be paid at the regular wage rate, $16.00 - $20.00 per hour paid weekly, from May 23, 2021 until September 19, 2021 when the Seasonal Business Overtime Exemption is in force. Employee may be eligible for additional compensation in the form of a discretionary season-end bonus. Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 7:00am to 2:00pm, 11:00am to 6:00pm, or 3:00pm to 10:00pm. Shift hours may vary.
