Description
Grafton Job Corps provides students, ages 16-24, with academic and career training. We assist with employment placement and offer 7 different trades for students to choose from. We are looking for a Guidance Counselor to join our team!
This position is Temporary for an employee going out on leave. We anticipate whoever is in this role to be on our team for at least 3 months starting in late March or early April, with a possibility of finding a permanent role if the candidate is successful in their role.
POSITION SUMMARYProvides direct student counseling services and individual student case management to ensure student progress, retention and completion of the Job Corps program. Identifies and remediates student barriers to success and develops individualized student career plans. Ensures strict confidentiality of sensitive information and integrity of student data.
MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISIONMay provide supervision and oversight of the CPP program and staff.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (including at least 15 semester hours in Social Services-related instruction) from an accredited school required. A minimum of one-year experience in counseling or related field. Prefer previous Job Corps or related program experience. Must possess a valid in-State Driver’s License and meet Company insurability requirements.
