The Trauma Specialist Clinician will provide direct clinical assessment and clinical intervention services for persons served by the program utilizing a trauma-informed approach including specific evidence-based practices for the treatment of trauma. Develop and periodically review service plans in collaboration with persons served and other members of the CBHC interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities include:
Collaborate with persons served to establish service plan goals and interventions.
Provide trauma-informed, evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, families, and groups including but not limited to Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), Attachment, Regulation and Competency (ARC), Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP).
Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team and collateral providers/case managers as necessary including schools and state agencies (DCF, DMH, DDS, DYS).
Involve families in evaluation, treatment planning and on-going treatment to the degree agreed upon with consumer.
Provide crisis management and coordinate care with Riverside Mobile Crisis Intervention as necessary.
Provide consultation and education to families
Schedule: Full time 40 hours per week
Pay Rate: Based on experience and chosen Productivity Level -
Unlicensed Clinician - $68,958.50 - $74,263/salaried
Independent Licensure - $72,141.20 - $77,445.70/salaried

Required Skills
Must be able to work as a member of a team and to function independently.
Moderate to advanced computer fluency, including Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Enthusiasm to learn and integrate technology into the work environment, including providing therapy via video conferencing. Experience providing services using video-conferencing platforms preferred.
Valid driver's license
Required Experience
Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling required.
Must meet all requirements leading to an active professional license in the individual’s professional discipline, including, but not limited to, continuing education, ethical requirements, etc.
Certification and/or previous training in evidence-based practices for the treatment of trauma strongly preferred, including but not limited to Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), Attachment, Regulation and Competency (ARC), Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP)
