Statement of Purpose:
The Registered Nurse on the IV Team provides and/or coordinates the IV care of patients. He/she participates in both patient and staff education related to ambulatory care and IV Therapy. The IV Nurse maintains standards for professional nursing practice and assists in implementing policies and procedures related to IV care and IV care, utilizing guidelines established by the Intravenous Nursing Society and departmental policies.
Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Certification / License: Current RN Licensure in Massachusetts. Current CPR certification.
MRMC Differentials: Hospital differentials are: $3.50 hourly for evenings, $4.75 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends. All differentials are paid based per hospital policy.
