Robert Half International Payroll Supervisor/Manager/Director in Milford, Massachusetts
Currently seeking Payroll Manager position. The Payroll Manager is responsible for managing the Payroll Department and for the oversight and implementation of the HRIS/payroll/time and attendance system in ADP.
Supervise processing of bi-weekly payroll and provide administrative payroll support as needed
Resolves payroll processing and employee issues
Supervise Payroll Department staff
Prepare the biweekly contributions and quarterly matches to retirement plan (403b)
Oversee and analyze integrity of compensation practices; alert Administration of unusual activity
Ensure payroll laws, policies and procedures are implemented accurately
Ensure accuracy of W2s
Reconcile payroll-related general ledger accounts, and create/input payroll-related journal entries
Create and complete required reports as appropriate
Complete documentation required for annual financial, retirement plan and workers compensation audits
Payroll integration manager for creating, documenting and testing requirements for ADP Workforce Now and Time and Attendance systems.
Ensure the development, communication, control and execution of ADP project plans in a manner consistent with policies and practices
Develop documentation and train workforce in time and attendance and Workforce now systems
Functions as main point of contact for HRIS upgrades products provided by payroll service
Manages fiscal year and calendar year end payroll activities
Reconciles Unemployment, payroll system, and other billing
Associates Degree (minimum) Mandatory, Bachelor’s Masters, CPP preferred
5+ years of PR Management experience (nonprofit would be a slam dunk, but not required) ADP WFN and ADP E-Time are all really important. E/E 500+ also important.
Strong people skills, real mission driven (know who they are and what they do), detail oriented and process improvement driven
