Waters Material Handler III, Instrument Repair in Milford, Massachusetts

Waters Corporation is seeking an experience Material Handler III, Instrument Repair to perform basic material handling functions related to Warranty & Repair processes as assigned, contributing to daily requirements in both an individual and team environment. The Material Handler will assist in the receipt, movement, storage and control of materials from internal and external customers in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Primary duties include performing material transactions both manually and electronically to provide accuracy and control across a broad range of returned materials.

  • Assist and perform receiving and return of raw materials processed through the Warranty & Repair department.

  • Assist and perform internal distribution of incoming materials to appropriate areas for processing.

  • Assist and perform packaging and distribution of materials for external customers as necessary.

  • Participate in ongoing inventory control activities including cycle counting, inventory management and analysis of instruments and material stored within the Warranty & Repair department.

  • Participate with department support functions in the following areas:

  • Implement methods to improve the returns process.

  • Assist in reviewing and/or updating documentation for related processes.

  • Provide support and ongoing execution within a strong 5S system within the Warranty & Repair process.

  • Perform other duties as required.

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment preferred.

  • Forklift experience and past licensing beneficial but not required.
