Statement of Purpose: Under the direction of Pathologist, the Cytotechnologist performs microscopic examination of prepared slides of gynecologic (GYN) and non-gynecologic (Non-GYN) specimens to arrive at a cytopathologic diagnosis, exercising independent judgment and delineating cases for review by Pathologists. Qualifications: Education: BS and certification by accredited school of Cytotechnology, or equivalent education acceptable to nationally organized accrediting agency. Certification/License: Cytotechnology (CT), ASCP or NCA certification preferred. Experience: One to two years experience in a cytopathology lab preferred.

MRMC Differentials:

Hospital differentials are: $3.50 hourly for evenings, $4.75 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends. All differentials are paid based per hospital policy.
